Hi, I’m Charlene – a Sydney-based Florist & Stylist! My journey to becoming a florist is a story of rediscovery and passion. For years, I navigated through various careers—lab technician, IT specialist, customer service representative—but despite these roles, I felt a persistent sense of lack, a void that no job seemed to fill. I was lost, tired of the same old routine, and on a quest for purpose and meaning. Then came a turning point. My husband, who noticed the sparkle in my eyes every time I received flowers or created a beautiful arrangement, encouraged me to take a floral workshop. At first, I went along with it simply to appease him, not expecting much. But as I immersed myself in the world of floristry, something magical happened. I found myself completely engrossed, savoring every moment and discovering a deep joy I hadn’t felt in years. It was then I realized that creating beautiful things and spaces was my true calling. I dove headfirst into multiple workshops and courses to hone my skills and understand the business side of floristry. That passion led to the launch of my brand, Lily Jane Florals. Each bouquet and arrangement I craft is a reflection of my journey and love for flowers. I’ve had the pleasure of freelancing and styling venues, bringing unique floral visions to life. The name Lily Jane Florals draws its inspiration from the elegant lily flower, deeply connected to my favorite Saint, Saint Joseph. Integrating my middle name, Jane, adds a personal touch, creating a floral business name that reflects both my admiration for the Saint and my individual identity. Now, every arrangement I create is a testament to finding my purpose and the joy I’ve discovered along the way.

Secure Your Date
Excited to move forward? To lock in your date and prices, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit secures your booking and pricing.

Design Proposal
After receiving your deposit, expect a beautiful design proposal within 2 weeks. This proposal will present floral designs and concepts tailored to your unique vision.

Planning and Coordination
We’ll handle all the behind-the-scenes work, including liaising with your venue, refining design details, prepping props and styling items, and ordering necessary supplies.

Final Details Confirmation
4 to 6 weeks before your wedding day, we’ll have a final catch-up to discuss logistics and finalise details. This ensures everything is perfect and as you envisioned for your special occasion.

What styling items and stationery do you provide?
We have our own stock of arbours, props, candles, vases, candle holders, drapes, easels, frames, table numbers, and more to style your events! For stationery and signage needs, including welcome signs and seating charts, we collaborate with our preferred vendors to offer a range of bespoke options.
How Can I Repurpose Flowers for My Event?
We’re passionate about making every floral arrangement count. Repurposing flowers from your ceremony to the reception is a wonderful way to maximise your budget and make the most of your blooms.
How can flowers be repurposed?
Pew Ends: These can brighten up wishing well tables or become charming elements in simple centrepieces.
Urn Arrangements: Can be relocated to decorate areas like the welcome sign or seating arrangements, creating a cohesive floral look throughout your event.
Floral Arbours: Can be transformed into a stunning backdrop for the bridal table.
We offer repurposing options tailored to your design and will guide you during the planning phase on what can be reused. Just ensure there’s enough time between the ceremony and reception for a smooth repurposing process, as this requires careful planning and effort.
What happens to the flowers after the event?
To minimise waste and give your guests a special treat, we set up a flower station where they can create their own take-away bouquets or choose from pre-made ones. About 45 minutes before your event ends, we’ll carefully disassemble the floral arrangements and prepare them into lovely bouquets at a station near the exit. Guests can pick up these beautiful gifts as they leave.
